Biography
Kristina Klebe (pronounced "Kleeb") is a German American actress born in New York City. She played Lynda in Rob Zombie's 2007 remake of Halloween (2007 film) and will soon be seen as the historical character Leni Riefenstahl in Neil Marshall's remake of Hellboy starring David Harbour ( Stranger Things ) as the title character. Fun fact: David and Kristina both went to Dartmouth College, though at different times. Kristina grew up in New York City but spent much time overseas with her family in Germany, France and Italy as a child and teen. She lived in Aix-en-Provence when she was 15 for 6 months as an exchange student and in Paris when she was 18 working as an intern at the film distribution firm M5. She lived in Sienna, Italy when she was 20 for a study abroad during college. With an ability to speak all of the above languages fluently due to her studies, travels and family heritage, she jokes she sometimes cannot decide whether she feels more European or more like a New Yorker. Kristina went to high school in New York City and graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude with a major in Politics and a minor in Theater/Film. She gave up being a competitive equestrian (she trained her own horse) for a more complete immersion in theater in her teens. Kristina attended the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT and attended the prestigious NYU Grad Film Program at Tisch School of the Arts in NYC.

Her acting career began on several noteworthy off- Broadway stages. Ranging from characters such as Juliet in "Romeo & Juliet," Beatrice in "The Servant of Two Masters," Dorimene in "The Bourgeois Gentleman," Mary in "On The Verge," and Jill in "The Big Funk," she has worked at Soho Rep, The Public Theater, NY Theater Workshop, 59E59, The Jean Cocteau Repertory and the Underwood Theater in NYC. Her first foray into acting, however, was when she was 7 and she and her best friend would write musical sketches and perform them for an admiring parental audience.

Although Klebe cherishes the art of acting as her true passion, she also freelances as a videographer and is working on her first feature script, based on a true story in her life. She attended the highly esteemed Grad Film Program at NYU. She is the co-creator of the web series "FRICK" which has been getting great buzz from tastemakers in that emerging medium. On the side, she has been working with a charity called French-American Aid for Children for over 10 years while also acting as a volunteer and foster parent at Best Friends Animal Society and Much Love Animal Rescue. Her other hobbies include horseback riding, diving (she is a rescue diver), writing poetry, traveling, and listening to music.
